RF Module - Unable to put Vortech into slave mode

Hey guys,
Hi,
I have a Gen 2 MP40W.
Recently I am having issues setting my vortech into slave mode. (This used to work fine) I updated Arduino and RA Libraries and now it won't work. I go through the process of entering configuration mode and then tap Set to put it into slave mode.
The pump doesn't do anything - I can push it until Im blue in the face with no joy.
If I exit config mode on the pump, the RF module changes to solid green but nothing is being controlled.
I have tried rolling back as far as 0.7 libraries but no joy.
Is there some kind of "factory reset" on the RF module? Or maybe a firmware upgrade?

Do you have 2 pumps or just one?

No it's not a quiet drive, the old school gen 2 driver with the mode and set buttons on the underside.
@rimai, I only have 1 pump. My brothers tank is here temporarily and he has a vortech as well. I thought it might be interfering so I turned his off during the process (first cleared his drivers memory in case)

Ok, try this:
Disconnect RF module.
Set brother's as master and sync yours as slave of your bother's
Your module should be in slave mode now.
Reset your brother's to default mode (not master anymore)
Connect RF module.
Does your module respond as slave now?

The RF module flashes white and stays like that

So, it is either in night more or feeding mode.
What mode do you see in the RA screen for RF module?

I've actually excluded the rf from my code at the moment because:
A) I couldn't get it working
B) I need to upgrade to the plus board so as of 1.0.1 libraries my sketch is too big with rf in it
I thought let me run this issue past you guys and if any ideas arise I will roll back the libraries and include rf
I should have bought the plus version from the get go but anyway
