Remote hub for temp and float switches

I'm thinking about relocating my RA from the stand to a cabinet located next to the tank. I'd like to make a little hub to place under the stand so I can plug/unplug the temp probes and the float switches there instead of having to follow cables back and forth from the stand to the cabinet.
I was thinking of having a breakout box with the following lines from the RA (thinking ethernet cable):
Ground (from one of the float switch ports or temp ports)
+5v from a temp port
ATOLow+
ATOHigh+
Signal line from a temp port
On the breakout box, I'd have a jack for ATOLow, ATOHigh (ATO lines and the ground) and 3 jacks for temp probes connected to ground, +5v, and temp signal.
Any obvious problems with this setup?

You should be fine

Oh, and a pH extension, too. I'll probably just use a BNC extension cable for that.

So I got this done. I basically glued some 3 pin and 2 pin connectors (jumper wires, really) together. It works, but it's ugly and one of the 2 pin connectors broke almost immediately. I found this on Amazon for version 2.0.

I think I'll mount it to a small PCB with sturdier 2 pin connectors. May use pieces of header strip.

Very Nice! Does that eliminate any "stress" on the sensor Bus? Any chance you are going to get with Roberto/some other smart guy and make a RANet version?

Also, is the knob on your RA Broken? It looks off center in the picture. Again, nice job on that.

It's not broken, just the angle of the picture I suppose.
It's only purpose is to simplify the wires going from under my tank to the cabinet beside my tank where the RA is. It's extremely simple.
