temp probe

I got my extra temp probes and the one I plug into the third port on the controller keeps coming up with error. Later I will try a different port on the controller to make sure it is the probe and not the controller. but I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this?

Temp probes require reboot of controller to be picked up.

If I understood, you plug it in and it doesn't show anything no matter which port you use?

OK I got it to work. Looks like something with the extension cable.
I keep switching them around because I thought it would be port 1 would be tank probe and for some reason no matter where I put the room probe it would always be displayed as t1 one which I have set to the tank heater.
But then I read this

So guess I have to use the current room probe as the tank probe I guess.
