Is anyone using the Reef Angel Dosing Pumps to do a small daily water change? I have one set dosing Cal/Alk and I really like them.

I was wondering how they would fair if I used them to do a daily one gallon water change (about 1.5 hour runtime I believe). Does anyone know what their life is rated at?

I have a 120 with a floor drain that needs auto water changes.

They are not intended for this purpose.
They would wear out much faster.
The motor is a brushed motor, which wears overtime compared to brushless.
