What are the feature differences between the RA and the RA+?

RA+ has 256K of code memory compared to 32K on the standard.

Wish there was an announcement thread or an 'in development' section, although I'm not really on the forums much which may be the reason I've never heard of the RA+ until now.

I can't invest in mass producing all the stuff I wanted to.
I have only produced (hand crafted) a couple dozen of those up to now.
So, I do a little at a time and we are at a point in time of the RA journey that the RA+ is becoming more and more a mandatory requirement.
In the past, we were able to wing it with the features selection, but it's becoming a lot harder to pack all the cool stuff that you guys created

So, it may turn into a regular product that can be purchased at the web store soon.

any possibility of upgrading actual reef angel?

Yes, you can swap out boards.

What is the cost of the board for an upgrade? I just got mine about a month ago and now that I am really starting to work with it the limited memory is becoming troublesome.

It's $75 for a swap out head unit board.

Is this going to be in the store? Or do we have to special order from you, like you will provide one at a time?

oh glad I found this thread, as I am really really looking in to a RA.
but one question why such small memory? even with the upgrade it seams not that much??
granted the code cant be all that big. but with the growing needs of the reef community I could see it getting full.

I would say we are very far off from using 256k any time soon. It's plenty.

Thanks Roberto. I think I'll just order the regular for now and worry about the upgrade down the road. I have a tank in immediate need of control!
