Re: iOS Reef Angel Status
The relay control. Turning sump light on/off for when I'm working down there, feed mode, & water change are what I miss. My controller head isn't easy to get at and my computer isn't right by the tank.

Re: iOS Reef Angel Status
We appreciate your hard work binder, and the following comment is not towards you at all. It just seems to me that an advertised feature should be supported by the mfg, not some poor guy doing this in his free time. We've been waiting 3-4 months now for this, and I thought I bought an iphone control...

Re: iOS Reef Angel Status
Thanks for all the work Curt. Just want to make sure I'm not missing something here - v1.0 is sensor status only, no outlet status or control, feed mode, etc.?

Re: Did someone say iPhone app?
Anyone else getting some weirdness in iOS 7? Temp reading works about every other refresh as do the on/off status bars on the outlets.

wifi quit working
All of of sudden my wifi module quit working. Nothing changed network wise. Module is flashing both green (slow) and blue (fast). I rebooted the RA by unplugging the serial cable and the thing won't turn on now with the wifi attached. I have to unplug the wifi cable and boot it up and then attach th...

Control 2 tanks?
Can I control 2 tanks, 50ft apart, with 1 controller? What else would I need for the 2nd tank besides a relay box, temp & ph probes?

Re: Wizard time schedule
I put in my vote to change it back to simple time settings for each port. The way it is now is too limiting.

Re: Main relay port #6
Haven't tried a non gfi but port 5 never trips it, and I've hammered 5 with the same gear trying to trip it.

Wizard time schedule
When I setup my reefangel for the first time a few weeks ago I could have sworn you could set each port for time individually. Now it ties them together for lighting, meaning if my main lights run 8 hours per day my refugium lights have to run for 16 hours a day, way too long. Am I mistaken or did s...

Main relay port #6
Port #6 trips my gfi breaker every time I shut off whatever is plugged into it. I've tried switching pumps & powerheads, does not matter if it is something drawing 6w or 35w it will trip. Several problems with this - I can't run the wavemaker function and I just bought some new powerheads specif...

Re: Wifi - can't connect on LAN
Thanks all, got it. My ISP router (Q1000) doesn't support NAT loopback. I had to set it to RFC 1483 Transparent Bridging on the WAN setup. Then I had to add my PPPoE credentials to my router running tomato (on the Basic/Network/WAN), which does support loopback. Essentially just turned my Q1000 into...

Re: Wifi - can't connect on LAN
Not figuring this out. I've tried all kinds of stuff, adding routes. There is no obvious "loopback mode" setting on either of my routers. If anyone has any info that might help feel free to chime in.

Re: Wifi - can't connect on LAN
Ross - that would mean I would need to change the address on my phone when I leave the house and when I get home. I'm trying to hit a public IP which my router will send out, it's just not coming back in. Roberto - thanks, that makes sense. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something befor...

Wifi - can't connect on LAN
Need a little help. I have the plus analog w/wifi. I set it all up with the wizard, port forwarding in place, and while I can connect from the outside I can't connect from inside my house unless I assign the local IP in the browser or iphone app settings. I have 2 routers in the mix here, ISP one an...
