Re: How to setup your wifi attachment
Hey Rimai, Sorry for the delay, have been quite busy. Seem to have gotten it working on my phone while I am in my network. Couple of weird things are happening though. - My router/modem is putting out 2 networks 'Telstra1B6E' and 'Sherray'. Sherray is our old network from 2 modems/routers ago, so no...

Re: How to setup your wifi attachment
Hi Rimai,
Yes I just checked and it is there:
Also did a ping test which worked:
I'm still having no luck with the ip - http://192.168.0.11/wifi (IE and Chrome)
Not sure what to do, looking forward to hearing your advice.
Thanks in advance
Regards
Cody

Re: How to setup your wifi attachment
You have DHCP false... is your router running DHCP? Otherwise you'll need to set a static IP on the wifi module. Also make sure your router is set for AES-2 I believe and no spaces in the password. Hi Inevo, Sorry for the delay. I just installed another modem/router my internet provider (telstra) s...

Re: How to setup your wifi attachment
Hi, I was having issues with the setup, where the connection would only occasionally work on my home network with a couldn't connect message coming up. I hadn't approached port forwarding. Because of this and the antiquated modem/router I had, I have changed my cable modem to a cg3100D-2 modem/route...

hmmm, that's confusing. I didn't anticipate anything like that. I'll keep tinkering and let you know how I go. Keen to get it working with the app so I can have my tablet display on the wall.

wifi woes
Hey guys,
Setting up my wifi expansion. Is this likely to be a result of bad internet/router? I got it to load and click a couple relays over, but now I'm just getting this. It is placed about 1.5m from a booster.

Re: Relay expansion and 12v
Thanks Roberto, I think I have it now. Been playing around with my unit a bit.
Is it possible to get one of the small box's that come with the Relay expansion? I have the main box already... would prefer to spend the money on other expansions/attachments.

Re: Relay expansion and 12v
This is my current stuff from the wizard, could you give an example of what it would look like if I had another relay with the same settings? Or just a few examples. #include <ReefAngel_Features.h> #include <Globals.h> #include <RA_Wifi.h> #include <Wire.h> #include <OneWire.h> #include <Time.h> #in...

Re: Relay expansion and 12v
I don't think the wizard can do that, but the code would be the same, except for the port you are using. For example. For the 1st box: ReefAngel.Relay.On(Box1_Port1); And for the 2nd Box: ReefAngel.Relay.On(Box2_Port1); And for the power control: ReefAngel.Relay.On(Box3_Port1); So could I generate ...

Relay expansion and 12v
Hi all,
I want to have 2 relays and also be able to have the 12v power control expansion. Is this possible to do with the wizard?
Cheers

Re: 12v Power control expansion- wizard
I am making an automatic rotifer culturing system. The reason for using solenoids is so I don't have to listen to peri pumps for extended periods. I will be using salt water compatible ones too. I think I only need 2 floats too. How hard would the following be to achieve? Step 1 - Peristaltic pump p...

nope, but will get one.
Was just looking in the wizard and couldn't figure out how to do it with more than 2 (even when I selected the I/O unit) I'll have another look.

Re: 12v Power control expansion- wizard
Another quick one.
I am doing a automatic rotifer culturing apparatus atm. The idea is to have 2 containers, one of which has 2 float switches (high and low) and another has 1 (high) am I able to program, with the wizard all 3 switches to control 3 different ports?

12v Power control expansion- wizard
Hey all,
Just got some bits, was wondering how I connect the power control expansion and use the wizard with it? I am wanting to control some 12v solenoids (with a couple float switches) and peri pumps with it.
cheers

Cheers, bugger was hoping for analog as I already have some drivers for it.fatman wrote:Not sure on the PAR meter, but you likely have a PWM controller. The analog ones have a sticker on the relay box that says analog. You will only be able to run one pH probe without an expansion module.

Re: Several Questions, new to reef angel
Worth noting I got the unit 2nd hand but new.
I got two probes with it.
I presume this is a PH probe, but the other one definitely is too. Will the other probe also work?

Not sure how this Apogee PAR meter hooks in?
Not Sure if I have an analogue or PWM unit? Is there any way to tell?
more questions and pictures coming in next post... damn limits and no photobucket...
