False alarm. I asked my parents to unplug it and plug it back in and its working now!

I believe I am having the same issue since April 11th with the magenta light. The uapp was working fine since then. However, I'm away from my tank for a few days and won't be able to debug. Is there a chance there is something wrong on the server end?

I just saw that announcement. That is awesome!

For my elderly parents. Having a app is just more convenient than typing in the url for the uapp. The buttons for resetting the ATO were also easier to get to on the smaller screen.

Are you using the cloud wifi attachment? If so did you update firmware?

Is the Reef Angel Status App (by cbinder) still supported? I think with these changes I haven't been able to get an update since Jan 19th of this year. I don't personally use the app (I use uapp) but my elderly parents who sometimes need to reset the ATO and stuff have been using it.

I will update the firmware. But it does seem to have fixed itself when I put it in waterchange mode.

Haven't looked at this thread in a while. I'm trying one of the usb ports on the side (2 usb ports) of the expansion module. One thing I noticed is wiggling the connector on the RF module causes all of the relays to go beserk, if I wiggle the other end of the usb port (on the expansion hub) nothing ...

I tried switching the ports as well, though it was less frequent it still did happen. I remember a while back there being an issue with usb noise on the expansion hub causing the system to periodically shut down.

Hmm mine doesn't have any issues when the RF module is disconnected (so far). I wonder if you are suffering from the exactly same issue as us. When it goes into these random feeding modes for you, is the head unit really in feeding mode or are the relays just turning off?

Do you have the RF module to connect wirelessly to vortechs?

I'm using OSX Mavericks and I don't see the Wire directory in the same directory as the other libraries (ReefAngel, ReefAngel_Features, etc). Am I looking at the right place?

Do you mean between the RF unit and the head unit? Since, there are a number of users that are affected by this particular issue it seems unlikely that we all are affected the same way. I still haven't fixed this issue, but it has reduced in frequency since I replaced my RA board. Which accessories do you guys have?

I suspect it maybe either the expansion hub and or the relay expansion module that is causing the issue.

yes it was the expansion hub. These cables are just awful, I might bite the bullet and replace all of them.

First time I've seen this. Right now the status light on the reef angel controller is blinking red. Both the ATO and Temp warnings are off. What does it mean?

Switched to 1.0.7, seems to have fixed the issue, though unplugging the usb hub and reconnecting might have done it too. I'll keep an eye on it, but is it known what the cause is?

Using version 1.0.1. I'll try updating the libraries.
