ato port to pwm
So I have read one can do this, but could not find any code. What I want to do is use one of the ATO ports to control my red led driver. I currently use single low ato. Will I be able to use one port for ato and the other for pwm driver control? I have read the port only does 0-5v, which I think sho...

backup power
Was wondering is there is a way to setup a ups with the reef angel so if power went out it would turn off everything besides a pump and heater? Thought I had seen something like this before but couldn't find...thanks

PWMSlope ramp up time limit?
Is there a limit to the length of ramp up/down time in the PWMSlope argument? I am using 120 which works fine. I had received a few corals that I wanted to slowly accumulate so I used 330 but it seems the ramp up happened over an hour-ish. It didn't bother the new team, but thought I ask for the fut...

temp for led
What do people use to check the led heatsink temp? Do you just use the standard probe and put it touching the heatsink or between the fins? I was wondering if there might be a temp probe like a flat tape that I could attach to the flat side of the heatsink next to one of the led stars? Thanks for an...

Re: Analog signal for LED drivers
Thought I would post a quick update: It's been over a month with my Inventronics driver plugged directly into the pwm port, no issues as of yet. The more I look at designs of dimming circuits for these things, I don't think it is possible for them to distinguish between PWM and 0-10 analogue as ever...

Re: Analog signal for LED drivers
I have been running my inventronics/TRC driver for about 2 weeks without an RC. It seems to be working fine, to preface this my electronics skills are on the level were I am able to break most things (:.... I need another driver to split the white and blue channels, but am waiting to see if this uni...

Re: Analog signal for LED drivers
I have played with .1uF-10uF caps and 10-300K resistors. Maybe I am wiring it wrong but I have not seen any difference between using the low pass and just plugging the Inventronics driver right into the PWM port. Is it bad for the driver? I seen no shuttering or shaking, lights and dimms the same as...

Re: Analog signal for LED drivers
I bought a reef angel 2 weeks ago. Everything has been really easy to set up thus far, but the dimming. I knew it would be a bit interesting as I'm using an inventronics driver which I understand is the same as the TRC drivers. I have a 25 watt 700mA driver. Interested in what you guys come up with,...
