Re: Matt's 227g
The new sump I got was 4ft long. I'm running an external pump as that will take up some of the left over 2ft. I also have the calcium reactor, biopellet reactor, dual brs reactor, ozone generator and reactor and all that stuff will take up lots of room. In the end, the extra space was more valuable ...

Matt's 227g
The Tank. I absolutely LOVE the dimensions of this tank. 72"x27"x27" In my mind a tank can't be too long, but in my wife's mind, 6' is as long as she would like. So... It's the perfect length. If I had it custom built I would have made it 30" wide, but it's not! The price was rig...

Multiple pH probes
I didn't see this option in the store. I'm wanting to run a calcium reactor and have it controlled through the reef angel controller. In order to do this, I would like an additional pH probe attached to the controller and would like to program an outlet so that my solenoid shuts off at 6.5pH. I'd al...

Re: Wifi Attachment Issue & Question
Finally figured it out. My default local port is not 2000. Had to get into the router and poke around for a bit. Got it running now!
Now to figure out port forwarding. Does the reef angel have to setup a dhcp like no-ip.com?

Wifi Attachment Issue & Question
Using the wifi graphical utility. After inputting my settings I choose "Save Settings" and the module displays a slow green blinking light. However, after clicking "view wifi settings" the green light changes to a fast blinking light and it displays: CMD get ip IF=UP DHCP=ON IP=0...

Re: New User Must Read Posts
The thing I'm seeing that's most needed at this point is an absolute "guide" with all compiled information. It seems all information is available but must be found searching through the forums, opening different manuals and going back and forth between manuals and forums. The wifi manual s...

New Guy Compiling Error
Another new guy... another new error compiling in RAGen. Running RAGen 1.1.0.126, Installer 0022? Can't find a "version". But says 0022 in upper right of "about" page under help. The internal memory has been sent in with no problems. I've uploaded the RA Simple without issue as w...

Re: New User Must Read Posts
Great to hear. I'll try to take some observations down about being a first time user. I've beta tested for companies several times and used to (5 years ago) be a web developer. I might be able to have insight into the most difficult aspects of getting started. It appears for now however, that I am s...

Re: APPLE
By running a "virtual machine" are you suggesting bootcamp to install and run a licensed version of windows, or an emulator that has (I'm assuming required) usb support? If the latter, do you have any suggestions?
Thanks!
Thanks!

New User Must Read Posts
Hey guys, Just purchased a gen 2 Reef Angel controller and I'm jumping in head first. When I get this thing in I want to be able to set things up well. What forum posts should I read first? I searched for a list somewhere but didn't find one. I'll read through the stickies and those specific to my a...
