Are you shorting the output of the relay to simulate a button press or applying voltage?

It's pretty simple to mod it too.


All you need is a small relay to close those 2 contacts to simulate the press of the button. :)
What relay would you recommend?

Hello, I have yet to purchase an RA setup, but have a question... I have a complete fully loaded Digital Aquatics RKE setup which has been running everything for about 4 years. I'm nervous about stepping into something totally new which appears to have every function imaginable, but requires Arduino...

I just want to make sure I'm understanding this right...
Out of the box,The battery does not get charged unless by the solar charger?
It's not constantly trickle charged via mains power? (no 110v plug?)

Has any one tried something like this? puratekdotcom/products/insight-monitor-controller/accessories/flow-sensors They seem more reliable and less likely to stop flow upon failure. Granted, they don't tell you flow rate, but tell you if there is flow. This is more suited for a return pump or higher ...
