Plug loose/comes out from relay socket?
Hey all :) Glad to see people still here! Been out of the hobby a couple years but just set up a tank. Luckily everything I had still works lol.. Though I do have one socket in the expansion relay that let's the 3 prong plug of an item kinda fall out. It stays if I push it in hard, but with a bump i...

water level sensor accuracy/sensitivity?
So, I have a 48x24x10 tank now. Nice big footprint matched by the amount of evap! :/ And I'm wondering, what's the smallest amount of vertical distance the water level sensor will detect? I mean, can I keep the water level within 2-4mm? I know the pump would be running quite a bit, but short of the ...

Can we expect code uploads via the device someday?
I think that's one thing I would really like... Though I have gotten to the point where my reef tank setup is simple enough I don't need to change anything... lol

Re: windows 10 tablet
I got myself a 35$ android tablet to run the app... Thought about tracking down the guy who made the windows app and porting it to enable it on win10.. Sucks. :( I know this is old, but it's a continual problem if nobody is working on a Windows app. Though I do use the portal just fine and if I need...

Re: Portal Settings, Water Leak Flag?
On the alerts page, does it signal the leak is active? (change color or such?) Apologies I have it unplugged atm for rearranging..
For the code to enable it, I used the wizard and selected the checkbox, where do I verify it's enabled?

Re: Portal Settings, Water Leak Flag?
Hmmm.. You mean it takes 5 minutes of it being on before it registers with the portal? I guess I an turn the sensitivity up to trigger it and leave it.
Haven't tried that yet but I've still not been able to get it to email me..

Portal Settings, Water Leak Flag?
Trying to send myself txt msg's.. In portal settings I see a variable 'water leak flag' but in setting this:

I receive no email if I trip the leak detector.. Thoughts?

Is it possible?
Apologies I'm unfamiliar with the working of the water level sensors... But is it possible to use the multi-level sensor, hooked up to the hoses/pipes, in about 6 inches of liquid?(dosing containers) I assume the granularity of the percents are going to swing wildly, but fairly repeatable? Thanks ve...

Where's the dip switches? I only see a jumper.. I've verified it works by switching everything over the to the main, but I still can't get communication to the 2nd relay... So I'm guessing I grabbed the wrong usb cable, or I need to set the jumpers, but I've already tried 1<>2 for the main and 2<>3 ...

Relay issues?
So I've got the following setup: Main Relay 1 Expansion Relay 1 Expansion hub RLD Buzzer Controller head unit is PWM. I can't exactly find clear instructions on how to add the 2nd outlet box. It's plugged into the expansion hub, which is plugged into the main outlet box. I tried opening it up, I saw...

Re: Salinity Probe Unstable
how's this going? considering ordering the salinity probe expansion but after having my old apex salinity probe be consistently off, I'm convinced the tech is a lie! Ok, maybe not totally, but it ticked me off about the apex. I could see how the tech is false hope, unlike my gin, that's not false ho...

Re: Fyi Roberto (might need to change the wizard?)
Ha, had my answer right in front of me. It's because I can't seem to get T1 probe to become T2. (bought a new longer one, but it's only t2 no matter how I plug them in) ReefAngel.TempProbe = T2_PROBE; ReefAngel.OverheatProbe = T2_PROBE; is generated as T1_PROBE by the wizard despite the loaded sketc...

So last night I went to hookup my doser for alk. Was going to backup the arduino sketch but didn't like the name. Changed it from 'sketch_24a' to 'Reef Angel Cont'. I get a message saying it needs to be in a folder named 'reef angel cont'. I click ok, it creates a folder with that name and puts the ...

Re: Turn outlets on/off from joystick?
Been so busy I haven't made any progress. Lnevo could I get that code you have, might be able to adapt some of it. I see if I press the joystick left, 3 times, I get a screen, the list of relays, labeled with their status, a color and then Port #. That screen would be perfect to be able to arrow dow...

Re: Documentation
Just checking in, I agree I love the setup but I have so many questions! I guess with time the documentation will grow and grow :) I commented this in the one wiki: I had a 3ft temp probe originally, I just got a 10ft. It seems that no matter the port I plug each into, the 3ft registers as T1 and th...
