Has anyone tried control of the Radion Pro with the RF module?

I currently have a single Radion Gen1, and I'm going to a larger tank where I need to add another light. I'd like to upgrade to the Radion Pro, but only if my RA+ will control it.

Yes. It does the white screen anytime the hub is connected, regardless of whether or not anything is plugged into the hub.

Roberto, Things just got weirder. When I first received the new expansion hub, I hooked it up for a quick test and the RA+ booted correctly with the hub and everything plugged in. I'm not sure which green light you're talking about. The green LED on the hub lights up, but that lights up any time the expansion hub power source is connected, regardless of any USB connections.

When I try to boot my RA+ with the expansion hub connected it stops at a blank white screen. If I disconnect the hub and attach any single expansion device, it boots correctly. Is there some really simple step that I've missed?

The features file gets overwritten with the newer auto selection of features. Arduino looks for this keyword to enable the salinity feature: ReefAngel.Params.Salinity I think I missed something big. The features file doesn't get used anymore? Is there a thread somewhere that explains this to me so ...

For what it's worth, this link used to say ships in 1 to 3 months. I ordered it on Thursday and it arrived on Saturday with the regular shipping option.

Roberto, is the need for 470mV solution set by the hardware or by the software that drives the calibration procedure?

If it helps anybody, I bought the Digital Aquatics 35 ppt stuff from Marine Depot and they shipped it within an hour.

The only 470mV solution I can find is the Hanna stuff and Amazon says it usually ships in 1 to 3 months.

What about the 35ppt stuff?

Can I power my expansion relays off the Reef Angel itself or do they need to be powered from another source due to startup sequences, etc?

I'm up to three expansion devices needing 12v power and I don't have enough outlet space to do it neatly.

I use the installer successfully on my Mac with Lion (10.7)

So is there sample code somewhere on how to use the RF Expansion Module to control a Radion?

( I may or may not have bought a $750 light just because I was excited my RA could control it... )

Update: I've confirmed using a magnifying glass that Font_8x8 and Numbers_8x8 are actually 7 pixels wide with a single pixel space. I'll update the spreadsheet to reflect this change as well.

What are the feature differences between the RA and the RA+?

Is anyone using the Reef Angel Dosing Pumps to do a small daily water change? I have one set dosing Cal/Alk and I really like them. I was wondering how they would fair if I used them to do a daily one gallon water change (about 1.5 hour runtime I believe). Does anyone know what their life is rated at?
