Re: RA portal charts does not have new data
When did you change the server? I mean why would all four of our controllers stop being capable of sending tho the correct server at the same time? What do you think happened?

Re: RA portal charts does not have new data
I am having the same problem. Last data recorded in the webchart is Dec 23 3:15pm. I have tried rebooting the controller. Rebooting the WiFi adapter by unplugging and plugging. Updated the time and date on the controller, even though that seemed correct before updating. I think that the problem has ...

Re: Chart seems to be recording events as if they happen 8 h
I have used my Uapp to sync the time, and the controller is displaying the correct time o.k. the lcd screen.
Also, I notice my banner is displaying time 8 hours in the future.

Chart seems to be recording events as if they happen 8 hours
Both the Portal, and my Android Uapp, are charting data as if they happen 8 hours from the actual measurement. Ie, right now they are plotting measurements just taken and recorded, as if they happened 8 hours from now. Any ideas?

Relay expansion box - one outlet smoked
I have two relatively new realay expansion boxes. they should both be within warrants period. Yesterday I plugged in a small circulation pump, temporari into one of those outlets in the second expansion box, and it immediately started to smoke. I turned that outlet off and unplugged the pump immedia...

Re: Have to reset WIFI every Night
I have messed around with the Linkmon also. Set it to 0, 30, 3000. I do not experience any changes in bad behavior, except for when I set it to 0 and it lost connection I believe stayed with the green LED flashing instead of the usual Blue flashing to tell that I am disconnected. I did install the M...

Re: Wifi will not connect after firmware update
I am trying to understand this so I am going to ask two questions that may seem extremely basic: Why are all new WiFi adapters not sent with this already configured? Roberto just told me to do this procedure on a recently purchased, brand new WiFi adapter? What is the purpose of changing the ttl fil...

Re: Have to reset WIFI every Night
I get something like this too. I get a situation, perhaps once per day. Perhaps more or less often, where the blue light blinks. I think the only way to recover is to remove power from the WiFi adapter. Rebooting the router has no effect. Here are two things I need to investigate I think. I am very ...

Re: WiFi Attachment - Static IP on device
you are amazing Curt! Thank you so much. I can't believe how much must have gone into getting this out with such clarity. I so much appreciate it. I have litterally just got something working on the Portal on my own, and it seems to work on your program, as well as the UApp, and was going to let peo...

Re: WiFi Attachment - Static IP on device
This is too hard for me to figure out. Can someone please help me some more? Preferably get me on the phone or connect direct to m computer. Do I have to tell my RA WiFi adapter to use a static address and tell my router to accept that? I have no idea what to do at all. This controller is not going ...

Re: WiFi Attachment - Static IP on device
What does that even mean? Passthrough my cable modem/ wirelss router from ATT to my WiFi device on the Reef Angel? If so, then can you tell by the information above what ip address and port needs to be passed through to what address? And is this all set up in my ATT router, or is it set up through t...

Re: WiFi Attachment - Static IP on device
You appear to be spot on the money. I must have input that incorrectly. I can't believe it. Now I am getting no blue light at all, just a slow blinking green light. Once a second approximately. And I am connecting with the built in wifi demo server, or my cell phone using "Reef Angel Status&quo...

Re: WiFi Attachment - Static IP on device
I have the same Uverse NVG510. I am very new to Reef Angel and to this router thing. I have used the WiFi Attachment Setup Utility, but the blue light keeps on blinking. The green also blinks. That program tells me that to access the Reef Angel from outside I need to do something with 192.168.1.1:20...

Re: PWM and Analog outputs - Confused
I found the manuals. Kept missing the fact that there were tabs. However the manual for the relay box does not include a picture of the dimming ports or the fact that only the first one will have those ports active.

Re: PWM and Analog outputs - Confused
Ok. Thank you all for the answers. I have a much clearer understanding. I really do think this basic information should be presented in a clear way on the product description or manual. By the way, When I try to download the manual at the product description, it presents me with the same Arduino cod...

Re: PWM and Analog outputs - Confused
Please repeat this in another way. I do not understand this at all. Did you mean to say "Yes, you can connect multiple drivers TO each dimming port, but the dimming ports in any ADDITIONAL relay expansion box is disabled and can't be used."?

Re: PWM and Analog outputs - Confused
I now have the understanding. Thank you. I think this should be explained, just like this, on the description to the two versions of the Reef Angel main units, and wherever you describe the relay boxes. Do you also agree that I could control two LED drivers off one port? I will have two relay boxes....

Re: PWM and Analog outputs - Confused
Thank you Inevo. I can tell you know exactly what's the deal here. However, I'm still mightily confused. Are the jumpers you refer to in the Controller main unit, or the relay box(es), or both? Where are these PWM/Analog outputs? On the main Controller box, or the relay box(es), or both? Lastly, if ...

PWM and Analog outputs - Confused
I really am not able to make sense of a few things. Does the Plus Controller itself come with these output built in (or is it in the relay box)? - PWM or Analog? If it does, then is there one or two outputs are on this controller? Also, can the PWM type of controller be converted to the Analog outpu...
