Re: Serious temperature issues
Not the wifi attachment. You must reboot RA. Unplug from the wall and plug it back in. Yeah, that's what I was saying in the previous post. It worked. I just can't believe I missed such an elementary step. I feel uhm, moronic. Yeah that's a good word for it. Thanks again! I appreciate the solution.

Ok, now I feel COMPLETELY Retarded!rimai wrote:Did you reboot RA after you plug new probes?
New probes are only recognized at boot.
Yeah, rebooting the Wifi adapter doesn't help much... Maybe I am too dumb to own one of these

Re: Serious temperature issues
I would like to piggy back on this thread... I have a similar issue, except every temp probe I receive doesn't work. The temp probe that came with the RA+ works fine, I have tried to add another temp probe (Temp2) and I get one of two things. 1.) Just utilizing the temp probe that came with the RA+ ...

Re: SB Reef Lights 32 Wifi Controlled LED
Not for the WIFI controlled light. Mike is still working on that. If I disable Wifi on the unit, I could do a bypass, but then I wasted 200.00 on the wifi component I wanted, I would rather find and or develop a fix, then disable the reason I bought it. Know what I mean?

Re: My 125 Gallon Reef and I need some insight on my RA
I will probably need to add another Relay box (I need to send in my current one because port 1 has a short in it, and I am not sure I wanna be opening it up and messing with it (unplugged or not)). I still want to figure out how to set/add a programmable option to the lights (SB Reef Lights) but tal...

Re: Some strange issues
I was trying, resolved the first one, but couldn't figure out the second set. My Wifi Controller should come tomorrow, so i might change up a little, but what you've helped me with is beginning to make sense. Hopefully I can do a little coding (sheer attempt at this point) this weekend and see what ...

Re: Led suggestions
Exactly, I have some old Black Boxes that I have been able to remove the potentiometers and wire it to a wireless controller and it worked ok. But this is a little bit different. I may just wait for the hardware fix, Its a hardware issue and not the application Mike created. It will allow for 250+ s...

Re: Led suggestions
I have talked to Mike and he is seriously working on solutions to resolve the WIFI issue, however, since I already spent the extra 200.00 for this option, it would suck to pay for and then lose that functionality. He is well aware of the shortfall, but the fix for the other black boxes he has videos...

Re: Led suggestions
Honestly, the best value right now is the Chinese black boxes. The best spectrums are not the ones on eBay or Amazon though. Check out the group buy lights on the Chinese Blackbox LED Proof Group on Facebook. And better than those are sb reef lights. com. The basic versions are easy to modify for 0...

Re: Some strange issues
Collin, Sorry for the delay in my reply, I was helping host a Frag Swap so needless to say, its been a busy weekend. I had ZERO power, no outlets, no RA power... Nothing. The problem was a faulty cord. I took another cord from my computer hardware supplies and the problem disappeared.. Ill post my c...

My 125 Gallon Reef and I need some insight on my RA
Hello all! I wanted to share a little about my tank and then request a few different pieces of help. I am new to the RA community and to the RA controller itself. I considered myself a bit of a geek and then realized, I am not as smart as I had hoped on certain things :-) I just ordered my Wifi addo...

Some strange issues
Good morning Reef Junkies! I've always considered myself a geek, but this programming piece has me feeling a little skiddish and insignificant! I'm a newbie in the RA work (RA+) and just got my system setup a week ago. I don't have any adapters or modules yet, but I will be looking to get the ...
