Re: Sure wish I would have found this sooner...
Paul, thanks for the pics! Hopefully someday my project will be in a case rather than the breadboard it currently resides. Forgive my ignorance but what are you using the avr/eeprom.h for? Also, I have a 16 key membrane key pad that has 8 leads on it, I can't seem to find any information on how this...

Re: Sure wish I would have found this sooner...
Paul, I gotta say that is very impressive. It would have taken me years to write all that code. It certainly helps understand how things work for my setup. Thanks so much for the help! There is no way I could have managed to get through this without some sort of assistance. Had I known about RA befo...

Re: Sure wish I would have found this sooner...
Sorry, I meant the 2800.
I just ordered the 2803 from TI so now I really need to focus on programming. Once I get some of the basics down I would like to work on getting the pH portion working along with the ethernet shield in conjunction with something like pachube for data collection.

Nice, I actually have a ULN2803 but it would only drive 7 of the 8 relays.
Thanks for the tip.

Re: Sure wish I would have found this sooner...
So managed to scrounge up some to post some details about my project. Like I said, I would have been far better off just buying a RA unit but didn't know it existed until I bought most of my components. Here is a picture of my build so far. http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a396/waverz/Snapbucket/7B...

Curt, that would great! When I started programming I just assumed I could sort of through some example PDE's together, edit them to suite my needs and I would be good to go. I quickly found out that was not the case.
Thanks for the link to the libraries! I'm going to take a peek at them now.

Sure wish I would have found this sooner...
For the last couple months I have been working on a DIY controller. I am taking some some classes in electronics as well as programming which I didn't do well in either. I'm not the smartest guy in the world but I have determination! Anyway, so far I have an Arduino Mega wired up to a 12v relay boar...
