Re: RA* relay update question
i got the board off, took more force than anticipated. Multiple of the sockets have very bent copper plates and some even had loose connectors. Is there any way to get replacement sockets?

RA* relay update question
Hello- I am thinking about updating to the RA*. I purchased a RANET relay a few years ago, but it never kept a good wireless connection so it has been sitting in a closet collecting dust. Can this relay be used directly with the RA*? Also, when I received it, multiple of the ports were unusable beca...

Re: Return pump interfering with float switch locking up RA
They are in the standard ato configuration with wires up on one and wires down on the other. The return chamber is very calm so I don't think it's waves. Guess I could buy some new switches. Just think it's odd that it happens more often the closer they are to the pump

Return pump interfering with float switch locking up RA
I recently upgraded my tank/sump and have ran in to an odd problem with my reefangel. My new sump requires that my float switches are closer to my return pump than my old sump. I think it is causing magnetic interference with the switches causing them to occasionally cycle on and off rapidly. When i...

Re: RANet relay expansion not working
another question about the expansion. I just go back in town after getting it setup. Last night I noticed that every 10-20 min my refugium light would turn off for a second then right back on. This light is hooked up to the wireless relay expansion. I think the expansion is losing connection to RANE...

Re: dosing pump calibration
awesome. thanks. also- what is the minimum time you can use for a dosing pump to be on? I wanted to do frequent small doses to minimize swings. I set a 5 sec on time. I just watched one of the dosing intervals and it seems like it only actually pumped for 1 second. Is there is a delay in the pumps c...

dosing pump calibration
just hooked up 2 of the dosing pumps. i calibrated by timing how long it took to move 250cc. Got one to be 0.6cc/sec and the other to be 0.65cc/sec. Is it normal to be off the 0.75 mark?

Re: Client Suite 3.0
Two quick questions. 1, is there a 1.1.1 memory file?
Two, I added a ranet relay expansion today. Every time I try to switch to box 2 in clientsuite the program crashes. Any ideas?

Re: RANet relay expansion not working
thanks, that fixed it. I used a small screwdriver and was able to bend some of the copper in the two outlets the didnt allow me to plug anything in. That seemed to fix it. Still a little rough plugging things in them though

RANet relay expansion not working
I tried to hook up my ranet relay expansion today. None of the outlet seems to work. Even when I set them to always on. I flipped the 1st switch on. 2 and 3 are off on the side. Also, there are 2 ports that I cant plug anything in to because the copper inside is bent. Is this fixable? here is my cod...

dosing pump questions
I am thinking of adding some dosing pumps to my setup now that I am using 2 part. I have been kicking around a few options and cant decide on which. First option is just buying a pre-made one. They jebao seems like a cheap solution that has decent reviews. My other options was to add single pumps to...

As in override to keep the port on all the time? Also, what is the APWM% and DPWM% in the memory section of the client suite controlling? The numbers in there don't correlate to anything I have set.

wizard + client suite 3 lighting problem
I recently updated everything on my reefangel and used the wizard to create all of my code. I used the the " internal memory" setting. I am trying to use client suite 3 to change the PWM on my lights. When I change the % and click ok it changes is for about 5 seconds on the application its...

no changes at all. just typical water changes. Makes no sense to me. I guess I will just run it with the switch inverted and see what happens. maybe it will switch back to normal again after a few days haha. who knows.

ATO problems
I have had my RA running for months now without problems. I have not changed any coding for months. Starting this weekend my ATO started turning on even when the float switch was up. Thankfully I have a timer set on my ato pump or I would have had a nice little flood. I started looking in to it more...

quick question about the standard pwm coding. The code i am using is below. Is there a way to control the peak daylight and actinic value from the client software? Or do i have to manually code the max values if i want to change them? thanks ActinicPWMValue=PWMSlope(10,00,22,15,0,70,120,ActinicPWMVa...

Re: clouds and storms without PWM expansion?
Awesome. I'm very interested on knowing how those drivers work out. I'm actually specially interested on knowing if they really can dim down to 1% and how hot the chip gets. When you find out what is the lowest cutout point, will you let me know? I've made my own LED drivers in the past that could ...
