Re: Unexpected end of stream
So it's possible that port forwarding is half set up? Forwarding on home network but not off network? How is the portal updating partially via external networks?

Re: Unexpected end of stream
Here is the current state. When home on wifi, connecting works (sometimes takes a few attempts of getting errors), but when the app is set to away and I'm off home network it will not connect and says timeout. However....the portal updates all parameters but shows connection status of unreachable ad...

Re: Unexpected end of stream
You need to set it static on your router. If you aren't using cloud wifi or star then it's not going to work with your port forwarding.. Sorry but i think you must be misunderstanding. It doesn't receive a new IP every time it connects...just when setting it up. I'vehad one of these for 6 years and...

Re: Unexpected end of stream
Every time you set it up almost it gets a new IP from the router. We'll, it jumps between 5 or 6 different ones depending on what is available at the time....

Unexpected end of stream
Wifi on my reef angel has gotten to the point I rarely even try to get it set up anymore. I know part of this is due to my internet service provider and their system updates but I had some time today and I can't get it to connect. I keep getting an end of stream error when I try to connect from the ...

Re: Time keeps changing
It's hard telling. Nothing super evident I don't think. I'll be honest I have been a little disappointed with the durability of this unit. So far I have 2 ports that don't work in my relay box due to water and/or salt creep and it makes a horrendous noise like something is shorting every once in awh...

Re: Time keeps changing
Believe so. I had to take the cover off and let it all dry with temp probes and ph probe unhooked before they would read accurate.

Time keeps changing
So I recently started using the android app instead of iOS app and my controller time keeps updating to the incorrect date/time. I will also mention that some water spilled on it recently, but I don't necessarily think that is the issue. I will set the date/time from the app or the portal and someti...

Temp Probe stopped working
I've had my RA for a few years with little issue. However, I moved a few months ago and my temp probe no longer works. Only error shows on display for temp and nothing shows via portal. Everything else works ok. I tried scraping the connections to no avail. Suggestions? Do these ever go bad? Thanks!!

It is the RA. And of course I look and the wrong board is selected. I will try tonight and update the group. Thanks so much! Can't believe I overlooked that. You can tell I was pretty rusty.

Error uploading new code
So it has been about a year since I have uploaded code and I recently moved my tank. I went through the wizard (first time using this instead of RA gen) and I keep getting an error when I try to upload code. The output is as follows: The following features were automatically added: Watchdog Timer Ve...

I checked those, they appear to be unchanged from what they were when it was working. Other ideas? Could there be something wrong with the wifi attachment?

New Wifi Utility instructions?
Hey everyone, so I set up my wifi module again due to it stopped working after i moved my tank and was flashing blue. I tried using the new wifi utility, but could not find updated instructions? Also, when using the new utility, do you enter local port as 2000? The module is now slowly flashing gree...

Wifi blinking
So, I put in new flooring in my house and had to unplug the router and the reef angel for an extended period of time (multiple hours). I was wondering if I now needed to reset up anything? I noticed the wifi attachment had came unplugged and now the blue and green are blinking and I cannot connect. ...

Replacement Relay box?
So, I came home this morning to a burning electrical smell and return pump not working. I found that my return pump had stopped working and it also appears the relay it was plugged into also shorted. :( :o I was too afraid to leave the entire thing hooked up, so I reverted back to old school timers ...

Binder, Actually yes they are chosen when creating the file, but are not showing in Arduino after generating. This is after I updated to 0.9.6 libraries. Hmmm....I will have to look and see what's going on. I know that if the ports chosen are the same as the default ports then the line isn't writte...

Re: Encountered first problem
Everything looks good in your files. It looks like the MH lights run on a schedule and the StdLights run on the reverse of MH lights. I'm thinking that maybe the relay mask is being set on/off like Roberto said earlier. Can you browse to http://YOURIP:2000/wifi and look at that screen. There will b...
