WiFi Manual Setup Issues
I am trying to manually setup the WiFi unit, in order to set a different port other than port 2000. Using the MFG utility I am having baud rate issues. I have followed the steps in the manual for the initial setup with 9600 baud, but it does not provide a readable output. Usually, this means a bad b...

Replacing the Main Board
To All; I have just received a used RA+ controller. While the head unit does boot up, the side to side function of the joystick does not work; up and down work just fine. On closer inspection I noticed the main board has areas of corrosion and some of the chip traces are eaten away. Time for a new m...

RA+ Dimming Ports
I just looked through the manual but I could not see anything per se referring to the setting of the relay units dimming ports. I see from the product description the ports are either analog or pwm. My unit has the analog dimming sticker. Are the ports analog by default or do I need to set them to a...

Re: Local Web Page Not Connecting
Roberto;
I got it to work. The issue seems to be a browser issue. I used FireFox and everything shows up.
Chrome and Safari seem unable to process the data.

Re: Local Web Page Not Connecting
I just moved and the controller was down for awhile. During that time the on-board battery died; it has now replaced. Is it possible that I lost the internally memory and this may come into play?
I notice it spins its wheels on the memory tab and then gives same error.

Re: Local Web Page Not Connecting
Roberto;
When I clock on the refresh button in the upper right I get "Unable to process controller data!"
For clarification, are you saying that I need to upgrade the controller's software to 2.0.9 or to verify the uapp is supposed to be version 2.0.9 (which it is)?

I had tried the forum uApp you sent the link for. Sorry, I should have mentioned that.
Same thing. I must be doing something wrong.

Re: Local Web Page Not Connecting
Roberto; I have done so. I even changed the profile(server) name & the IP address handed to the Controller to ensure it not some weird cached credentials issue. I have let it run for an hour. I am getting the same non-update. Does the sever name need to match something exactly? New - Creds.png N...

Re: Local Web Page Not Connecting
Update:
I just tried from an old Windows 10 laptop. Same result. Both the MacBook and the WIN 10 machines seem to be stuck.. The portal user name does not seem to carry through from the settings. I am using uApp 2.0.3 if that helps.

Re: Local Web Page Not Connecting
Roberto; Yes, the IP is being received and I am on the same AP and network. The communications to the portal seem fine. And the Apache server on board the controller is responding on port 2000. Port 2000.png It is when I try the 'wifi' page that I get the following: wifi page.png This is odd because...

Local Web Page Not Connecting
To All; My controller is a RA-Plus. The controller connects to the cloud portal just fine. The various parameters (Temp, pH, Relays, etc.) are all updating. So my credentials are correct and the port forwarding is working seems to working correctly. However, the local web connectivity is a conundrum...

Re: Relay Expansion not tripping
Yes I did. I moved the unit next to the controller, directly attached it to the controller with a 1 ft USB cable and nothing turned on, all outlet ports on the expansion relay unit have no power. I think it maybe the USB connector its self. The controller seems to be fine and connecting with all the...

Relay Expansion not tripping
I have an expansion relay that only seems to stay set at initial conditions. When the time ports are supposed to trip on or off nothing happens. The expansion box is 7ft away from the expansion hub with a 10 ft USB cable. This is a RA Plus Controller. I am wondering if the signal is being attenuated...

Still looking for one? I have a RF module that came with my purchase of a RA system. I do not have Vortex power heads, so I have no use for it.

Re: Portal Issues
Thank you.
It took a few tries. The SSID kept getting corrupted and it would not connect. I put an extra line in and that took care of the problem. It is all up a running on the portal now.
Again thank you

When I look at the settings I see: Version 1.1.3 WiFi WDT 1 I can reach the controller over my local network using http://<ip of RA>:2000/wifi and see the correct settings and probe readings. I am quite new to using a controller and the various probes. Do you fully submerse the pH and salinity probes?
Thanks!

Noob Question
Hi all; I am new to Reef Angel, just picking up a RA+ unit second hand. First let me say I am impressed at the effort, the work and the functionality. It has been a while since I programmed in C++. I see the '.cpp' extension in GIT. A quick question is this C++ or Visual C++, there is a slight diffe...
