Has anyone ever figured this issue out? I still get random feeding modes happen throughout the day. I have just switched the feedmode ports to my unused ports, but it would be nice to work correctly.
I am trying to associate the wifi unit with a new SSID... Initially I got the wifi app to update and connect to new ssid, but my router was set to 192.168.11.1...I went and changed router to 192.168.1.1. Then using the wifi tool it keeps saying to reconnect, but never updates successfully. I tried u...
Didn't update the RF unit yet, but tried other usb ports in the expansion hub. I even have the Vortech pumps turned off and I am still having the issue.
So for me all signs point to the RF module. Every time I unplug it I don't get any mysterious Feeding Modes. Can this be updated? Roberto I have the firmware that makes the RF module reset all the time. Probably flashed that around October.
I've had the RF Exp unplugged since Monday, and as I look at the portal relay activity chart, I don't see any abnormal equip off during a feeding mode that wasn't true. I will plug it back in and see if I get the issue again.
I have the following equip:
Relay Exp
Exp Hub
RF Exp
2x Vortechs
Roberto, can we look into this issue? There are a few of us who are having the issue, and for me it's annoying that I have to workaround the problem and lose one of the great features of my RA.
I still have some ports the toggle off during feeding mode, so I can look at the history.
Happened again last night, it was feeding mode, which after 15mins everything went back to normal. Could be happening when I am not around as well. I am leaving town for a few days and removed the ports for water change mode, I also changed feeding mode just to turn off return & skimmer. I also ...
Happened again, but at 8am this morning. When I went all the way over in the RA Android App I did notice the Vortech's were in Feeding mode, so it may not be water change, but feeding mode instead. Any ideas?
It's definitely not an overheat. I don't shut off my return pump on overheat. Portal key for blocking someone starting water changes without my knowledge? Thank god I didn't have some type of auto water change setup. #include <ReefAngel_Features.h> #include <Globals.h> #include <RA_Wifi.h> #include ...
Happened last week one night while sleeping. Around 4am I awoke to the unpleasant sound of my tanks pumps shutting off and overflow water noise. I updates some code (heater temps and light schedule) yesterday and libraries updated too. The happened again yesterday around 3am, and it just happened to...
Anyone else having problems with the wifi attachment while using the gadget 24/7? It seemed to have started after I updated the RA library. My wifi attachment will stop updating, but will reply to ping. I have to manually reconnect the wire and it will work for maybe a day or two. I turned off the g...
Same thing happened when I used the Gadget for Windows 7 with the last library update. If you can ping and get a reply, its the same thing happening to me.
FYI, mine has been working flawless since I stopped using the Windows 7 gadget. I think I will enable it again and see what happens. Remember my issue was the wifi attachment stopped working (updating website or Andoid app) and I was still getting a reply from pinging the static IP I assigned to the...
ok, I will try that as well. It would be nice to have it update on hover or even a timed update. Literately every time I look at it the updated time is within a minute.
I did not get a chance to get the dump. Maybe tonight.
I have the Client & Gadget installed on my desktop at home, but rarely use it. I do have the Gadget installed on my work computer which is always on. That does seem to poll much more than the Android app (set to 30mins).
Damn, I reset the wifi unit (just a quick reconnect of the wifi side of the cable) probably 10mins before your post. It blinked green, a few oranges, then slowly blinking green and all is well. So bizarre.
