I have the same container, but I am using it horizontally and punched holes through the white cap.
I will post a picture later.

Has anyone ever figured this issue out? I still get random feeding modes happen throughout the day. I have just switched the feedmode ports to my unused ports, but it would be nice to work correctly.

I am trying to associate the wifi unit with a new SSID... Didn't update the RF unit yet, but tried other usb ports in the expansion hub. I even have the Vortech pumps turned off and I am still having the issue.

So for me all signs point to the RF module. Every time I unplug it I don't get any mysterious Feeding Modes. Can this be updated? Roberto I have the firmware that makes the RF module reset all the time. Probably flashed that around October.

I don't understand how the RF module can initiate a feeding mode.

The only other RF I have in the area is a Roku controller. Could that be interfering with the module?

I've had the RF Exp unplugged since Monday, and as I look at the portal relay activity chart, I don't see any abnormal equip off during a feeding mode that wasn't true. I will plug it back in and see if I get the issue again.

I have the following equip:
Relay Exp
Exp Hub
RF Exp
2x Vortechs

I will try turning the Vortechs off and unplugging the RF module over the weekend and see if I get any random feeding modes.

Roberto, can we look into this issue? There are a few of us who are having the issue, and for me it's annoying that I have to workaround the problem and lose one of the great features of my RA.

I still have some ports the toggle off during feeding mode, so I can look at the history.

My *fix* was to set the feeding mode ports over to water change.

Glad someone else is having the same issue. Mine does the same thing, randomly goes into feeding mode all day long.

Happened again, but at 8am this morning. When I went all the way over in the RA Android App I did notice the Vortech's were in Feeding mode, so it may not be water change, but feeding mode instead. Any ideas?

It's definitely not an overheat. I don't shut off my return pump on overheat. Portal key for blocking someone starting water changes without my knowledge? Same thing happened when I used the Gadget for Windows 7 with the last library update. If you can ping and get a reply, its the same thing happening to me.

Turned on my gadget again and it stopped working again last night.
That's gotta be the culprit.

So far, after killing the Win7 Gadget on 24/7 PC at work, my wifi unit has been working fine.

ok, I will try that as well. It would be nice to have it update on hover or even a timed update. Literately every time I look at it the updated time is within a minute.

I have the Client & Gadget installed on my desktop at home, but rarely use it. I do have the Gadget installed on my work computer which is always on. That does seem to poll much more than the Android app (set to 30mins).

Damn, I reset the wifi unit (just a quick reconnect of the wifi side of the cable) probably 10mins before your post. It blinked green, a few oranges, then slowly blinking green and all is well. So bizarre.
