Right, but I still want to turn the port and on and off even though I will be ramping the color and intensity up and down with the dimming channels

Setting up a Kessil with my RA. But one question, how do you set it up with a single power cord.The wizard sets up two by default, Actinic and Daylight? Don't want to have a second relay port going on and off each day that's not used

So in January I turned off my Reef Angel and tore down my tank. I have since moved from NY to Florida and am starting up a small nano tank.

I just realized I do not have the same laptop that had my code files, so is the code still on the Reef Angel and how do I retrieve it ?

The set wlan join 1 and correcting the SSID did it.

OK , just got back in, firmware actually did upgrade to 4.4.1, still cant get wifi to set up, either through putty or the wifi utility

I had gone back to 9600 baud and was finally able to get in, ran the wifi set up through command line, but after reboot it still never connected. Now I cant get back in........GRR !!!

Well I logged in, used ftp u and it connected to the ftp but they just ran these continual gray lines of nothing, very strange.

So After 20 minutes I disconnected, reset to factory settings and now I cannot get it to take wifi settings through the wifi utility and I cannot log in through putty.

Having trouble with the wifi module so I need to update the firmware, totally forgot how to do it, where can I get the instructions again ?

For the record your pumps dont run what the portal is set to. The portal sets your ra and the ra just tells the portal then how its set. You can set the memory locations manually. You may have some memory not initialized properly.. That's exactly what I think the original problem was, after seeing ...

Since I believe it was an issues with the portal or wireless, I hard coded my pumps to run instead of relying on the portal.

I came home from work and my two Jebao WP25's has stopped working. Yes, if you have a bad connection add the external antenna to the wifi unit, its a very simple modification. Check out that link. It solved all my wifi connection issues.

Here is the link for the external antenna if you ever want to modify, it made quite a difference for me.

I have a basement sump as well and decided to put everything in the basement including the head unit, relay boxes and WiFi attachment.

Is the speed the first or second variable.

I know its on the forum somewhere but I couldn't find it.

How do code my WP25 and WP40 to use certain modes at certain times and any other time use whatever the portal is set to.

With the RA in the basement and my router on the first floor I constantly had wi-fi issues. Since installing the antenna four months ago I have not had a single issue. This thread was great find for me.
