Re: Feed and W/C mode not working on iPhone app
It is wherever your libraries are. I think under Documents>Arduino>libraries. If you open Arduino and go to Preferences it will tell you where the libraries are. From there go to the ReefAngel folder and edit ReefAngel.h. If you do a "spotlight" search for ReefAngel.h it should find it for...

Re: Feed and W/C mode not working on iPhone app
You can do either. The version number doesn't mean much except if you run the library updater. Once the new version is out you can change it back.

Re: Feed and W/C mode not working on iPhone app
Are you getting a version error? To fix it, change the version number back. in libraries/ReefAngel/ReefAngel.h #define ReefAngel_Version "0.9.0" old one was #define ReefAngel_Version "0.8.5.19" --- An update was submitted a few days ago and should hopefully be reviewed and releas...

I didnt read every post but make sure you dont have a "second" firewall. Some cable / dsl modems now include a firewall that you also have to open up.

Great ! What's the change log? thx Better support for the 0.9 libraries. Ability to get a graph kind of like the portal. "Read-only" mode by gathering data only from the Portal More memory features like custom locations and dosing pumps. Probably more stuff I added weeks ago and forgot ab...

Re: Did someone say iPhone app?
Is there any way to have the ability to control the LED dimming function from the iPhone? Would like to be able to adjust the PWM slope from the iPhone or client instead of having to go into the code every time. Roberto guided me to a work around which will be able to allow me to adjust the intensi...

In the future you can setup a github account and have your .ino's synced to there. That way you have access to pretty much every change you ever make.

What are the lights on the wifi adapter doing when you are unable to connect? I have had it stop working a time or two where the amber light stayed light, however just unplugging / replugging the wifi adapter back in fixed it.

Thats a good question, in my non-expert opinion I would think not since when it is uploaded it is compiled and you would have to re-download and decompile it which is very complicated to do.

I thought you had implemented pulling data from webbanner too, didn't you? I think it was only enabled to pull the labels from the webbanner, the new version I am prepping will allow you to pull the actual data from the portal and will prompt for you to enter the ip address when you go to the contr...

On my new tank, my RA will be completely hidden in the stand and I will be using my old iPhone mounted in a dock. It will connect using my RA iPhone app to display everything I need to see. So in this case Roberto could make a displayless, buttonless RA unit but having to handle multiple models make...

I use a Macbook air with mine. On the mac side you can only use Arduino. To run any of the other apps you need windows. You can setup a Virtual Box fairly easily and run them.chercm wrote:i am running OS X 10.7

Thanks for the help everyone. I can see the mac addresses of the devices connected. There are 5, is there a way to tell which belongs to the RA? Pardon my ignorance, but how do I do that? Open the Airport utlity, click manual setup, on the summary page click dhcp clients. It will show you the mac address of all the connected clients. Did you configure a static ip on the RA or inside of the Airport Utility? It should be done inside the Airpo...

Re: RAGen and ReefCleint Help
You would need to modify the libraries to add a new function. You can use:
ReefAngel.StandardLights(Port,Hr On, Min On, Hr Off, Min off) This is what mine looks like:
ReefAngel.StandardLights(FugeLT,23,0,10,0); //On at 11pm off at 10am.

Re: iphone app help
okay now double check that it is forwarded to the correct internal IP of the RA wireless adapter.
EDIT:
I can now get to your controller using your ip address. Double check the config on your dyndns.org address. Maybe your IP address changed since you first created it.
