Hello,

Just thought I'd share my nano with you guys. Total volume is 80L and the display is 460x380x390.

(Sorry for the crappy pic quality. It's a special ability I have)

Livestock is 1 Anthias, 2x clowns and a six line wrasse. My fire shrimp recently decided to.... Die after 2.5 years so I need to get two more.

My RA is currently used more for fail safe and emergency control than total integration.

Before getting the RA I had a doser, DIY Led's (on a typhoon) and a Tunze osmolater so those functions are still handled by these units but they are run off the relay box. I will eventually migrate the lighting to the RA.

Return is a sicce syncra, and flow is via wp10 and an rw4. It's a zeo tank that uses my really dodgey DIY reactor :p

Coolest thing I've got running is the power fail mode I stole from Lee's code.
I have a little relay hooked up that triggers a power out mode in a power failure. This turns off everything except the return pump but turns the zeo reactor and skimmer on for about a minute every half hour to keep things oxygenated and stop the zeo stones from going all stinky and gross. This has literally saved my tank on many occasions.

Sump.....

Very nice! Love how good the SPS is doing in the nano. How old is the tank?

Thanks :)
Coming up for about 18months.
All of the corals are grown from tiny frags which I'm quite chuffed with

This is July 2014

The birdsnests were added later and so were the Mille's. I thought I had tons of space but Apparantly I was wrong[FLUSHED FACE]

Not brown nosing, this tank wouldn't have survived without the RA when we had scheduled power outs multiple times a week for a minimum of 4 hours each time. It was nerve-racking.

Yeah it was kinda weird...
Nothing was happening. Then I did a test for our local forum by swooping to and running 4x t5's for about 3 months.
Things started going and I was convinced it was the t5's. So to prove that's what it was I went back to my DIY leds. Nothing changed....

I started feeding the tank with a sludge I make up of ocean nutrition
Cyclops, rotifers, oyster eggs and some Seachem flakes. Thaw it, mix it and re-freeze. That gets fed every evening for the fish and corals and I swear that was the turning point....

Are you guys ok if I link the t5 thread on here?

Thought I'd share my little led mod.

Built this out of drafting paper

Which changed the light spill from this

To this....

And the tank looks like this after about a month iirc

So far it's awesome and your eyes hurt less when viewing the tank lol
