To All;

I have just received a used RA+ controller. While the head unit does boot up, the side to side function of the joystick does not work; up and down work just fine. On closer inspection I noticed the main board has areas of corrosion and some of the chip traces are eaten away. Time for a new main board.

So the question is how does one replace the main board? The ends with VGA and BNC connectors do they just slide out or is there some other procedure?

Thanks;
John

Here's my thread from year's past. The pictures were lost in the photobucket debacle, but the text description should be enough. It was very easy.
