Is my relay box PWM or analog
Is my relay box PWM or analog
Purchased an RA+ used and havent been able to figure out which relay box I've got (have two but they appear to be the same). From searches, analog had a sticker on the bottom; mine have no sticker but it's possible they did at one time. Is there any other way to know without breaking open the relay box? I unscrewed the main power and could see a pair of jumpers at the far end near the USB connector. The jumper looked to be on the pins nearest the USB connector; does this provide anything useful?
If I do end up opening the box, what is the best method of doing so without destroying it?

Re: Is my relay box PWM or analog
That sounds like PWM. If you do open the box, be aware that the label on the jumpers is reversed (PWM/Analog). IIRC, all you have to do is remove the screws on the top and then pry to get it to come apart.

Re: Is my relay box PWM or analog
If it's a PWM box there is no way to change it to analog (unless the analog components were installed originally), correct?cosmith71 wrote:That sounds like PWM. Re: Is my relay box PWM or analog
Just move those 2 jumpers to the other side.
The label is inverted.
It shows Analog/PWM, but it is in fact PWM/Analog

Excellent news; thank you rimai!rimai wrote:Just move those 2 jumpers to the other side.

Re: Is my relay box PWM or analog
So do the PWM only boxes not have the jumpers?madweazl wrote:Excellent news; thank you rimai!rimai wrote:Just move those 2 jumpers to the other side.

Re: Is my relay box PWM or analog
They do.
They are set just like in the photo.
That's why your box is currently PWM and not analog.

Re: Is my relay box PWM or analog
So there is no difference in the relay boxes? I thought there were versions of the box that didnt have the capability to do analog.rimai wrote:They do.

Re: Is my relay box PWM or analog
That's I mentioned above.
Just move the jumpers to turn your box into an analog version.
Older version didn't have the capability. Luckily, yours can
