When to use ports 5/6?

What are the guidelines for using ports 5/6 instead of any port? I have a dosing pump I would like to run once per hour or so. Does that pump need to be on ports 5 or 6, or can any port handle being toggled 24 times per day?

You will be fine on any port.
Powerhead motors that generate induction spike are the ones that need to be on 5 and 6.
