multiple expansion question

Post by reefcycle »

I have usb expansion, relay expansion, salinity, orp, ph expansion and water level. I am all moved in and finally got my reef angel to go wifi again. My reef angel was a real saint while I was working and settling in keeping temps and levels where they should. I need to replace a couple relays but that is not my main concern at the moment. I was cleaning up the wiring mess and losing extra power strips that arent required and I got all my expansions showing off numbers. Is there a way I can have my expansions plugged in and not have to go to a different outlet each? I mean it is not realistic to have seperate sockets from seperate lines for each expansion. I only have 8 outlets total, and I cant take up all of them with expansion plugs, so I use surge strips but if one expansion is plugged into same strip they go haywire, what should I do?

So, this issue only happen if you plug them in the same power strip?

ok I figured out the expansion problems, the water level sensor usb cable was shorting. I only suspected power because a while back you had mentioned they shouldnt be on same strip. the orp and salinity
