Client Suite false alerts
Client Suite false alerts
I have the client suite 3.0 setup to send alerts on hi/lo temp and ph. Several times a day I get alerts for low temp of 76deg or low ph of 4.93. When I check the status all is fine and the logs don't show any issue. Has anyone else seen this or have a solution for this problem?

I was having the same problem and posted a query about it and never got a response.
I just turned them off and set up the alerts in the Portal. You can also set up alerts in the latest version of the Andriod app (0.9.2) if you have that. http://curtbinder.info/apps/

I haven't seen the windows client developer on here in a while
Re: Client Suite false alerts
Thanks, I may end up going one of those routes. I've gotten to the point that I just ignore the alerts, which is kind of pointless. I just liked that the windows client updates frequently, I didn't want my phone to be checking status every few min and using up the battery faster.Sacohen wrote:I was having the same problem and posted a query about it and never got a response.

Re: Client Suite false alerts
Yeah I know the feeling and the portal does not update frequent enough.
Re: Client Suite false alerts
The same is happening to me now, Any ideas how this can be fixed?
Re: Client Suite false alerts
I have a WiFiAlert class that you can send the alert directly from the controller. You can download the wifialert branch on my github page and if you search the forum you'll find the thread on the topic...
