Connecting to Arduino
Connecting to Arduino
Hello, I recently purchased a Reef Angle Plus controller. I am attempting to link my controller to Arduino (version 1.01) and cannot upload without receiving an "error compiling" message. I am using windows 7. Thanks for your help.
Re: Connecting to Arduino
I can highlight the code but cannot copy it. I have followed the setup instructions from the user manual v 2.15 and it does not seem my controller can be accessed by the arduino software. I cannot open a dropdown menu under File, sketchbook to create the initial memory setting.
Re: Connecting to Arduino
You can highlight and use the shortcut for Copy, which is "CTRL + C".
But, if the menu doesn't dropdown, there is something else wrong.
When you click "File" menu, nothing happens?

Re: Connecting to Arduino
When I click on the File tab, it will open a drop down menu. However, I cannot open the sketchbook or examples dropdown.
Re: Connecting to Arduino
Are you using the Arduino you downloaded from the reefangel.com website?
Roberto.
Re: Connecting to Arduino
Is it the Mac or Win version?
When you go to menu Tools, do you see Reef Angel Wizard?

Re: Connecting to Arduino
No sir, I do not see Reef Angel Wizard - I downloaded the Windows version.
Re: Connecting to Arduino
You are using the wrong arduino then.
Are you positively sure you are using the one you downloaded from the reefangel.com website?
I would suggest downloading and installing it again.

Re: Connecting to Arduino
I have removed the previously-installed version and reinstalled the windows version from the reefangel.com website. There is no Reef Angel Wizard option under the tools menu.
Re: Connecting to Arduino
I don't see this happening unless you changed stuff around.
When you go to menu File->Preferences, what do you see as sketchbook location?

Re: Connecting to Arduino
My apologies - I was able to access the wizard using my wife's account (her log in is administrator). Sorry for the inconvenience.
