Is it possible to have more than one Salinity Expansion?
I know there can be more than one pH.
I would like to use a second for a auto salt water mixer.
Thanks.
Multiple Salinity Probes?
Re: Multiple Salinity Probes?
i don't believe so. Not sure if there are workarounds.
Re: Multiple Salinity Probes?
Thanks for responding.
I've dug in a bit to the electronics (I'm more of a hardware guy). From the schematics, it looks like the same A to D I2C chip is used on most of the expansions. Although I don't see it on the schematics, each expansion's A/D convertor must be slightly different for I2C addressing. According to the datasheet - their are 8 different variants, each with their own address.
Maybe this is the limitation? The I2C hardcoded into the type of expansion?
