Note: Your "Add Custom Service" step should be able to just do Port 2000 to Port 2000 instead of Port 1999 to Port 2001.

Otherwise, nice guide. :)

Also, did you know that http://www.no-ip.com offers the free dynamic service (if you didn't want to pay dyndns)? I personally have accounts with both and they both work just fine for me.

Problem is my router only offers dynamic DNS from dyndns.org. I can't use a different one :( I wish I couldve

Actually if you choose the dyndns from the dropdown menu and then input the host you get from no-ip.com, it works just the same... It stumped me too for a little while and then figured it's the same.

It all depends on your brand of router and the firmware it's on I believe.

As far as I'm aware, you can also get custom firmware to add more dns service providers

Thanks for the info though - hopefully it will help someone out :)

So this reef angel cant be used to access from anywhere unless I BUY a dydns thing?
