WiFi Manual Setup Issues

I am trying to manually setup the WiFi unit, in order to set a different port other than port 2000. Using the MFG utility I am having baud rate issues. I have followed the steps in the manual for the initial setup with 9600 baud, but it does not provide a readable output. Usually, this means a bad baud rate, but no other baud rate has any output. Also, setting it up with the WiFi wizard and trying to Telnet into the unit, times out much too quickly. What am I doing wrong. Do I need to factory reset the unit before trying manual configuration?

Factory baud is 9600. After that, we change it 57600
