Reef Angel was not declared in this scope

Post by ruckusman »

I am trying to upload code using the newest version of RAGEn and I get this when I check the file after opening arduino.

How do I fix it....

Roberto,

I am able to use everything fine now that I am logged on to this new computer locally, so for your future reference after fighting with it for several hours the offsite file storage when logged onto the domain was the problem so you might want to let anyone that is using a networked or computer attached to a domain that is doing something like that they may have the same problem...

Can you paste a copy of your INO file that is generated?
Also, what version of the libraries is RAGen reporting you have?

Ok, I got this fixed by un-installing and deleting the folders in the documents and re-installing. I think some of the files that get installed got installed on the cloud server and not the local machine.

Now I can create a file, and I can upload it but no matter what screen options I choose or what, the controller screen says no internal memory found when I try to view it.

That's part of the upgrade.
It's our way of forcing everyone to upload an internal memory file.
You can either create one with RAGen or upload the one in your example codes called "InitialInternalMemory"
File->Sketchbook->Example Codes->InitialInternalMemory

Make sure you pick simple menu in the features tab.
Also, it is a good idea to uncheck date/time setup if it is checked.

Ok, sounds good. It is really working like a champ now. I finally have it all connected via wifi so I am cool with the simple menu.

The new client is awsome now that I understand how it works and what I needed to do.

ALso, can you paypal me for the salinity probe?
