Ok... so I can see much overlap here. I have been working on moving a C library, that has all the calculations for this stuff in it, over to ReefAngel Arduino. I have the library correctly set up and can call the functions within a PDE and just got back some more information from its creator (not me) that should let me correctly call the library functions and get the correct values passed back. It calculates Sunrise, Sunset, Solar noon, Moon phase etc and is designed on Arduino so should work for us (I hope). I have been a little busy with work and not spent any time on it but I have communicated with the person who wrote the library and it is available freely so long as the code source is acknowledged (which I have done in my library and PDE). Maybe I should just post the whole thing here so it can be dissected by individuals who are better suited at dissecting it.... I really wanted to post a working PDE with the library implemented and will do so when ever I get to that point, but I can see others may want this now and probably will work faster. Let me get a few minutes on a computer with the code in residence so I can copy and paste and present it correctly with acknowledgment to the author, I am going to start a new thread under how do I code as its new and should probably not be buried if it ends up working. Much simpler to find this way. Post will be from me titled.
