I have a relay sticking all of a sudden. I'm going to change the port to an open slot. But how can I fix it? What would u recommend?

It's your MH ballast, ain't it?
You can replace the relay yourself or send it for repair.

No. Its t5 actnic. MH is perfect. I searched first and saw leds or MH usually trip it but not t5. Eh whatever I just couldn't figure out of I should bypass that port since I have extras or repair?

What causes the relays to fail?

The most likely cause is in-rush current.
When current is too high, the electricity travel through the air in the form of a spark when the contacts are coming in contact, just before they close. This spark is enough to heat up the contacts that they melt and fuse together when the relay actually closes.
