ORP Probe interferes with Salinity Probe?

Hi,

Just got around to adding my ORP probe and noticed as soon as I put it in the sump, my salinity jumps up about 2 points.

This is immediate and if I remove the ORP probe, the salinity immediately goes down etc.

So there is def some interference from the ORP probe on the salinity.

I also tried placing the probe about a foot away from the salinity probe and exactly the same effect.

Surely this shouldnt happen?

Correct, this shouldn't happen.
May I ask to use a cup of tank water or any other container and do the same exercise in it?
Does it also interfere the same?

Just for anyone who may have a similar thing, Roberto helped me isolate this, and it was my induced problem as I used the same power supply to power the salinity and ORP module causing the problem.

When using separate supplies, it works fine!!
