Relay sensitively
Relay sensitively
Had a quick question. My second relay box activates or engages the relays off and on if the box is touched or jiggled. All connections are tight and after you leave it alone it for a minute it doesn't do it. But don't want a cat or anything to turn skimmer off by walking past wires! What could it be?
Re: Relay sensitively
I'll double check, but I twisted it tight last night checking it. I'll take it off and replug and tighten
Re: Relay sensitively
Update on relay. All plugs are secure. I removed and reinstalled them. If you touch the port it clicks. The relay box is mounted vertically just like my primary relay. Its fine unless u are messing with the plugs. I'm just curious if any one else had the oddity
Re: Relay sensitively
I remember a while ago, there were a few boxes made that had somewhat loose sockets that could cause this behavior you are talking about.
By what you are saying that you can remove the relays, I can certainly say it is one of the older boxes as the relay sockets don't exist anymore in the newer model. Relays are soldered into the board now.
Do you think it could be the socket itself that is loose and not the relay?

Re: Relay sensitively
Don't know. The one I replaced was the original one. So yes they were removable. Expansion box is new. How new? Idk. Lol. It's working so I live. Its really only "freaking " when messed with. Ty though
