test platform???

sorry if this sounds out there. i was just thinking that it would be nice if there was a program that would allow a test pde to be displayed. mostly cause i would like to start tweaking a custom main but dont want to have to upload the code to the controller each time to tweak it. is there something that would allow me to see what the custom main code would look like?

Doesn't sound out there to me at all. Here's a little teaser screenshot of a new project I started and have been working on with Curt and Roberto.

Idea is you drag and drop the controls on the bottom into the white main screen area - choose placement/color/text and then press the generate button. It will output the necessary code for you to copy/paste into your pde. One day it will be a part of RAGen and automatically place it in the generated pde for you.

I've had the idea in my head since last fall after I put in the ability to easily change the color scheme. Once the custom main stuff came through, it was evident that it needed to be done. Dave has really been helpful for getting it up and going and like he said, it will integrate in with the next release of ragen.
