Smart Expansion Modules

Which expansion modules are "smart" or re-programmable?

So not much chance of being able to add a 3rd PH Probe then huh?

What would be the purpose of 3 ph measurements?
Calcium reactor chamber and denitrator effluent?
Technically ORP meter is the same thing as pH meter, just with higher range.
So, you could use it, but since you are already using ORP, we would need a custom board for the 3rd ph meter.
We can definitely do it. It's just not going to show on the banners like you are seeing the other parameters.
You would be able to see it in the Portal though through the use of custom variables.

Exactly, Calcium reactor chamber and denitrator effluent. I was hoping it would be as simple as some dip switches in the module.

Not that easily.
The chip being used is a single address IC to simplify the expansion module line and libraries.
But it is as easy as changing the chip. I can pop another chip very easily to make the custom module.
