In the Wizard I have selected my dosing pumps NOT to operate in feeding or water change mode. Does this mean that I could miss a dose if i'm in feeding mode at the top of the hour when one of my pumps is supposed to run?? Would it resume normal operation once I exit feeding mode? I have also disabled them for water change mode. Do the same rules apply?

Correct, you will miss that dose if you are in either mode and it is time for dosing.
It will resume when you exit the mode.
