After upgrading to Ardiuno 1.0.1, library 1.0.7 and client 3.0 eventually everything work like programed with the RA wizard. However the LCD display on the controller malfunctions. When I unplug the controller and then plug it in back the LCD displays all the info (temps, pH) the green LED is on solid the red LED is Off. After 10 minutes or so the LCD turns off and when i push the joystick it turns on but it is blank (no reading just lighted and blank ), the green LED is on the red is off. Even though the LCD is blank the controller is functional, it means that when I push the joystick I can still activate the "water change" or "feeding mode". The client at that time is still functional and there is no error log generated of any kind.
I have the RA connected via USB with computer. Also I tried to run the controller while disconnected from the USB computer and it does not have any effect on the LCD, it still get blank.
Any idea what could be the reason?

You need a new LCD screen.

Roberto, I replaced the the LCD screen but it didnt help, the screen is still blank. Now even after unplugging and plugging in it doesn't display any info, just blank. Is there anything I should do to get it started?

Same thing for me but if i hit the reboot button in the commands on my samsung phone, the display comes back???

The screen does go to sleep mode. It goes into sleep mode after 15 minutes. Did you try moving the joystick to see if that is it?

If I move or press the joystick it comes back but with a very low contrast. Unplug/plug comes back like brand new. The wifi module seems to go on sleep mode to. First time i try to acces i always get error message not accessing and 5 seconds later wifi works!!

How old is this unit?

I think you will need to just get another screen in the webstore.

Should I buy a new /plus board instead?

It doesn't come with a screen.

Yeah, you can do that. you would end up with a brand new head unit

Yesss sir. Now can you help me with a code? I have a float switch right now in my aqua on the first floor and my sump is in the basement. when water rise in my aqua because a snail went in my pipe going down. the float switch stop my pump until i'm back and start it again manualy. Now how can i do that with RA?

Can you open a new thread for the float switch?
