Short list of what I have that I may want to control:
210gal dt and 75gal sump
2 Photon32's Reefbreeder LED's
Skimmer
Return Pump
2 Jebao WP40's
2 heaters
GFO
ATO
fuge light
dosing pump(s) - might buy reefangel dosing pump(s)
I am looking to buy a reefangel and had some basic questions about it...
1. I have 2 Jebao WP40 wavemakers that I want to control. Do I need to buy 2 of the RA Jebao cables or will one cable control both? Can I modify my existing cables (if super easy)?
2. When controlling the Wp40's will they each take up space in the relay box for power? Or, are they powered only through the head unit?
3. I have two heaters; will each heater need their own space in the relay box?
4. For what I am looking to control will I want the PWM or Analog RA plus unit?
5. Do the RA dosing pumps simply connect to the relay box or somewhere on the head unit?
Thanks

Re: Looking to buy RA - have basic hardware questions...
1. Yes, you will need two cables.
2. The WP40 does not need to plug into the relay box, the cables connect to the side of relay box, but they do not need use an outlet.
3. If you have different Highs and lows on the heater they will need there own ports / outlets. otherwise you can split the one outlet on the relay box, using an outlet extension and only require one outlet for both heaters.
4. Are you trying to control dimming on your LED fixture via RA or just use it as a timer for on and off?
5. The dosing pumps just plug into the relay box.
Hope this helps!

What would I dim? Lights?
I have a pair of Reefbreeder LED's that so far I guess no one has been able to control via RA but if it can be done in the future I would like to fully control them via RA.

Alright, thanks.

How large are your heaters. The only concern I have about putting booth heaters on one relay port is they may pull too much for the port to handle.

No need for two heaters. When heaters fail they usually fail in the on position. The OP is probably using two smaller ones just in case one fails. By using a controller if it fails the RA will stop power to it once it reaches the programmed temp.
