Experimenting with a custom water level expansion... First I had the idea of putting several sensors on one board but I changed my mind and miniturized the design instead... Sensor on one side and the other components on the other side. Would be nice if I manage to put the electronics directly on top of the PVC-pipe...
My custom water level expansion ("RA PNY Edition") on top of a 1 EUR coin...

Cool concept. The only thing is that it's nice to run airline hose to where water is versus wires.. But I love the concept of having everything in a PVC cap.
Got the circuits an hour ago... It's just a few (not to small) components on the board so I managed to solder the components with my old hobbyist tools at home...

I'm by far not an electrical component designer like you or Roberto, but would it help to squeeze a layer of silicone onto there when you are done with it and have it working.
The best possible solution would be an air stone with a rubber sleeve to make it a perfect fit against the plastic wall.
The sleeve would be soft enough to create a "seal" between two hard surfaces (The airstone and the plastic wall) and the air stone is porous enough to let air pass through to the sensor.
