Newbie USB mac question

I have a macbook pro running 10.9.1 mavericks. I installed the usb serial driver rebooted, and no matter what I do I cannot get my mac to talk to the reef angel or wifi adapter via their respective pieces of software. I installed the bluetooth adapter to the reef angel and that worked like a charm.
Unfortunately I cannot figure out how to daisy chain this wifi adapter and blue tooth module to program it so I'm trying to do it via the USB connection as instructed by the forum. I have attached a screen shot of what I get whenever I try and communicate with the wifi adapter.

The tty.usbserial is not there anymore, did you unplug the usb cable?
Can you post a photo of how you are connecting the usb cable to the wifi attachment?

Oh, I can see there is an error code there about additional installation.
I think this is what is preventing you from getting it configured properly, but I don't know what additional installation it is that it is referring to.
Can you try a different computer?
Otherwise, we will need to manually configure it using Coolterm

May be worth a shot....
Try using an older version of the wifi utility:
http://download.reefangel.com/download/ ... _1.0.1.dmg
Don't use the libraries or Arduino app from this image. Only use the wifi utility.

The older software version worked perfectly and I was able top configure the wifi module. Thanks!
My next question is do I have the ability to daisy chain the WiFi and Bluetooth module to the RA+ or is it one or the other?

Yes, you can.
RA->Bluetooth->Wifi

I got this working! it was just a matter of making sure I had the right cables in the right order. I had the cable with less wires second and it should have been first. Its now working and I can push code while the wifi is connected and it all appears to be working.
