Anyone done a soft start method for gradually bringing DC return pumps up to speed after feeding mode and such? If not I'll look at creating one.

I haven't seen one yet, but I'm interested too since I just got a DC6000.

I think he's talking about the WP pumps.
The DC6000 already has soft start standard.
It takes about 30 seconds from 0% to 100%

Does that soft start work if you have it connected to the RA instead of the stock controller.

I haven't hooked mine up yet.

It's a pump feature. You actually can't have it run from 0% to 100% instantaneously.
That's why you can't use them for wave maker in closed loop setup.

Thanks Roberto, I thought it was a feature of the controller.

Yes, Thanks Roberto. I was under the same assumption that it was the controller that did the soft start so the RA would need the same.
