I have had my wifi working perfectly for a couple months now. In the last week or two it sporadically disconnects from the network and the blue light begins blinking. Sometimes within a few hours it begins working properly on its own. Other times I have to unplug the wifi adapter and then reconnect it. When I plug it back in it operates normally for a few days and then does the same thing.
Any advice??
WIFI sporadically disconnecting
Re: WIFI sporadically disconnecting
It could be signal strength, interference with another 2.4GHz wireless device (even if not wifi related) or too much traffic in the same wifi channel band.
How far is the router? Some users have had great success with an external antenna mod.
Did you turn on any wireless device lately?
Try setting your router to another channel, one that is less used within your neighborhood.

Thanks for the reply.
Time capsule router is only about 50 feet away, no new devices but we have at least 9 that come and go from the network. Ill try to use a different channel and see if that helps. Thanks again!

Re: WIFI sporadically disconnecting
Not that it may or not be the case, but also non wifi cameras, cordless phones, nanny cams, baby monitors, etc. can all overlap the 2.4Ghz/5Ghz bandwidth that is used by the wifi. So it may not always be obvious what the cause of the interference is.. just something to add to the investigation.
