Roberto, any thoughts on how the joy stick could be lubed, the joystick on my is tight and squeaks when moved, it is tight enough that it makes getting from menu to menu a bit difficult..

I'm thinking a dry lube. Graphite would be best but its conductive so could make a mess of things... I was going to finally install the controller tomo (I have the day off) but might hold off till I can get this figured out

I would think a little dab of dielectric grease would do the trick. I find that dry graphite makes a big mess. I usually put that in locks and ignitions where the mess is fairly well contained.

True I have Servo Grease as well that is used for the gear train on servos so i know it is nylon safe.. Im thinking to get to the sweaky part i would almost have to pull it apart. or need a penatrating lube wich would likely not be electronics safe. I may have to live with this for now..

Open the enclosure and pull the black knob. It will expose the part that needs lube. Servo grease should work perfect.

ok will give that a shot.. I could just be being anal about this HAHA I have owned the reef angel for nearly 1.5 years and have not changed out my home brew controller yet Of course I modeled it after the reefangle of course mine is as large as a car.. (guess when you copy the best you wind up with some thing 2nd best) With that said it is time to retired my home brew and move onto something that does every thing including flushing the toilet if I want it to..

Thanks again Roberto for all that you do for our hobby.. ReefAngel Rocks
