A360's and PWM controller
A360's and PWM controller
I have a standard PWM controller and was wondering could I use a low-pass filter to change the PWM signal to Analog in order to control the Kessils. And also, will all 4 kessil's need be plugged into the relay box or could I just plug in the dimming port and then have the kessil power supplies plugged into a regular extension cord and still have control on the lights?
Re: A360's and PWM controller
Not sure about the low pass.
I know you can't do that with meanwell drivers.
But if you open the relay box, there is a way to change it if you purchased the relay box recently.
There is a light weld to break and then you can change the a couple jumpers in the board.

Re: A360's and PWM controller
I bought my controller package earlier this year, is that recent enough? So dumb question... would all the kessil power supply cords have to be plugged into the relay box even though there is only one acting as the master light?
Re: A360's and PWM controller
if you plug a power strip into the RA relay box and then the 4 kessils into the power strip you would have on off control of the lights. the first kessil has the cable from the PWM(Analog) connections on the RA pluged into it and then each of the other 3 would daisy chain off the first lamp the (PWM/Analog) will control the level for the first lamp and the fist lamp will pass that signal along to the others in the chain.

Perfect, Thanks man! So will my relay box (bought a few months ago) be the newer model that has the changeable pwm/analog jumpers? I guess I can open it up and find that out on my own...paulvisco wrote:if you plug a power strip into the RA relay box and then the 4 kessils into the power strip you would have on off control of the lights. the first kessil has the cable from the PWM(Analog) connections on the RA pluged into it and then each of the other 3 would daisy chain off the first lamp the (PWM/Analog) will control the level for the first lamp and the fist lamp will pass that signal along to the others in the chain.
