Hello everyone, this is my first post and I am a new reef angel owner and very happy with it. I do have some questions around security however because it does not seem any authentication is required to do things to the control from the internet. Am I missing something?

By default there is no security. There are now 2 additional levels of security though. You could enable a "portal key" which is a keyword that would need to be in the URL for any wifi commands to work. This has been in the libraries for a long time. It would act as a semi-secure password essentially. The next level is basic HTTP authentication. This is a brand new feature and works in the Android app, and the portal. This would require putting in an actual username and password for access to the device.
