I am looking at a RA+ unit from a local person. Attached is his comment about the issue the unit has he states that ra will fix the issue. I was hoping I would get advice from you before purchasing the unit. I plan on using the ra to its full potential so I will soon after this purchase buy more expansions from here.

it could either be a bad relay port or it could be how he has that port programmed. we have seen both types of issues here on the forum and further testing would be required to determine the exact cause. he is correct, roberto will fix it if it actually is a hardware problem.
that aside, that is a great price for a RA+. even if it's 1 port that has to be fixed, you can't beat the price for all the stuff you are getting. the RA+ alone is at least $269 or $289 depending on the type of model.

So I picked this up. I down loaded the user manual and Arduino onto my PC I figured to start I would reset the programing back to intial memory. I am getting this any ideas? I have the usb connected just like in the manual.

Ok nevermind please disreguard my last post. I was confused on the com ports I guess had to change it to com port 4 so was able to load it.

I am trying to set up my wifi attachment

looks like it is getting stuck on trying to connect to router. It is also getting DHCP false. green light is flashing slow on the wifi attactment.

reading through other posts here are some more details

security settings and dhcp enabled.

Slow green means it has connected.

You'll need to set the IP your router has assigned to static (DHCP Reservation on some routers) and forward port 2000 to that address.

Next question. This unit I bought has no power cords. The standard one for the RA unit easy to get already have one now the 12V power cords for the salinity and orb expansions can I pick something up at a local store for those or do I need to order them threw reef angel and if I do need to order them through reeef angel how do I do that?

You can get any 12VDC power supply at your local store.
